Pet-friendly Classic Rooms – bring the whole family

We know pets are part of the family too. Pets are welcome in all of our Classic Rooms, while our Deluxe Rooms remain pet-free, giving every guest a clear choice when booking.

For the comfort and safety of everyone, please keep pets supervised around the grounds and away from our alpaca and sheep paddocks.

Comfortable accommodation with space to settle in

Our newly built Deluxe Rooms are bright, spacious and modern, with fresh interiors and generous layouts that feel welcoming from the moment you arrive.

Choose from Deluxe King Studios, Deluxe Triple Studios, Accessible Triple Studios, and Deluxe Family Rooms for up to four or five guests. Each room has its own private entrance, private bathroom and full kitchen, along with air conditioning, a Smart TV and a private outdoor area — giving you a comfortable place to cook, unwind and feel at home.

For guests looking for a comfortable, practical and great-value stay, our Classic Rooms remain a lovely choice. They are fully self-contained, include family accommodation for up to six guests, and all Classic Rooms are pet-friendly.

Whichever style you choose, you will enjoy free unlimited Wi-Fi, complimentary on-site parking and easy access to our spacious gardens, playground and friendly alpacas.

Room to play, explore and slow down

Hideaway of Rotorua is set across 14,000 m² of open lawns, gardens and animal paddocks, creating a relaxed sense of space while still being close to Rotorua’s popular attractions.

Children can enjoy the outdoor play areas, while our friendly alpacas and sheep are always a favourite with guests of all ages. Each room receives a complimentary bag of alpaca feed at check-in, so families can enjoy meeting them up close.

There is plenty of room for children to play, explore and enjoy being outdoors, with peaceful spaces nearby for grown-ups to relax.

Picnics, barbecues and time outdoors

Our outdoor barbecue and picnic areas are available for all guests to enjoy. Bring dinner outside, find a sunny spot in the garden, or sit together while the children play nearby.

It is a simple, relaxed way to enjoy the space around you and unwind after a day exploring Rotorua.

Easy parking, with space for larger vehicles

Parking at Hideaway is free and easy, with spaces directly outside or close to the rooms.

Our large on-site car park can also accommodate trailers, boats, campervans and other larger vehicles. If you are bringing something larger than a standard car, please let us know before arrival so we can arrange a suitable space.

Storage for bicycles and sporting equipment is also available.
